Check as follows:
- Has the ACM/MCM/CPC been recently reprogrammed?
- Yes; clear faults codes if they do not become active. Release vehicle.
- No; Go to step 2.
- Turn the ignition OFF and disconnect DiagnosticLink® . Wait five minutes for all modules to power down.
- Turn ignition ON (key ON, engine OFF).
- Reconnect DiagnosticLink; are fault codes active?
- Yes; Refer to section “SPN 625/FMI 9 – GHG17” under ACM for further PT CAN troubleshooting.
- No; clear faults codes and release vehicle.
